Shannon M. Sipes is an Instructional Consultant with IUB's Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning, where she supports instructors of all ranks in their professional development related to teaching and learning. This includes course development and redesign, activity design, assessment of student learning, communities of inquiry, classroom research, and dissemination of their work locally, nationally, and internationally. As part of her role prior to coming to IU, she applied her skills in a STEM learning environment where she assisted programs in assessing the impact of international engineering design projects on student learning and growth. Shannon has also taught in psychology and education.
