Susan Buck Sutton is Senior Advisor for International Initiatives, Bryn Mawr College, and also Emerita Associate Vice President of International Affairs and Chancellor's Professor of Anthropology, Indiana University, where she had special responsibility for its urban campus. Under her leadership, IUPUI focused its internationalization through a philosophy of international dialogue and collaboration, honored with the 2009 Andrew Heiskell Award from IIE and the 2011 Senator Paul Simon Award from NAFSA. Past President of the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) and active in the American Council on Education (ACE), NAFSA, and the Institute of International Education (IIE), Sutton has given numerous presentations on the changing nature of academic internationalization, institutional partnerships, curriculum internationalization, and international service learning. Sutton has published five books and 60+ articles on international education and the anthropology of modern Greece.
