Full Biography
Dr. Emily Watson coordinates global education projects for Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana and has taught at the Indianapolis campus since 2010. Her work focuses on collaborations between Ivy Tech and its partners at Indiana University. She was part of a team that developed the Global Workforce Skills Certificate and she continues to work to grow that program. Emily collaborates with colleagues at IU and IUPUI to craft professional development opportunities for faculty and staff as they work to guide students to pursue global pathways. For her own classroom practice, Emily focuses on teaching students global citizenship through in-state travel opportunities and reflective writing practices.
