Full Biography

Samba Dieng is the Senior International Officer (SIO) and Executive Director of International Programs at Louisiana State University, where he leads global engagement initiatives. Prior to LSU, he served as Director of International Students and Scholars at several institutions. He is active in organizations such as NAFSA, AIEA, ACE, and APLU. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Nebraska and is currently pursuing a doctorate in higher education leadership at the University of Texas at Austin. Samba is also a 2022-2023 Presidential Fellow, a program administered by the Association of International Education Administrators.
